0-35k Altitude Encoder, Gray Code and Serial, TSO
The Sandia SAE5-35 altitude encoder provides Gray Code output for the transponder and two RS232 outputs to feed GPS and altitude awareness systems. It is accurate to within 50 feet throughout its entire operating range, and the RS232 outputs have a resolution of 10 feet.

Includes Altitude Inflight Monitoring (AIM) feature. (Must provide your own switch and annunciator light) Set at desired altitude, if you deviate more than 100 ft, ALT annunciator lights; deviate more than 200 feet, ALT annunciator flashes twice per second. Certified to 35,000 feet.
